targeted ketogenic diet
A targeted ketogenic diet that takes into account nutrient timing is the targeted ketogenic diet. It is a diet tailored to your preferences and requirements. In contrast to the CKD, you continue to consume 5–10% of your daily calories as carbohydrates to support ketosis.

Contrary to the typical ketogenic diet, you eat those carbohydrates on purpose before and after exercise to improve your performance.
Prior to exercising, eating carbohydrates has been demonstrated to enhance performance. Additionally, consuming carbohydrates after a workout may facilitate recuperation and enhance the fitness gains you made during the exercise.​
